Christening is one of the most memorable moments in life that should be celebrated in a way like never before. Important thing about christening photography is to capture the moments! Not only the very special moments, but also the spontaneous ones that make the memories special.
You probably want to get some excellent photographs during this time and it’s not something you would wish to do on your own, therefore hiring a professional photographer could be a god option for your baby’s christening. The churches in England are and taking photos of christening provides the perfect environment for amazing pictures.
There could be particular rules in some churches, for example rules about where the photographer can stand during the ceremony; some churches won’t let photographers on the altar and others insist they can only stand behind the last row of people or shoot only from the balcony. Also some churches may not allow photographing with flash, so usually I am taking photos without flashlight, however sometimes it is too dark and I have no choice but to use a flashlight. It is better to confirm all the details before the ceremony.
Every baby is unique and can behave differently during the christening ceremony: some will be enjoying all things happening around them, whilst others will sleep through the whole event or cry most of the time. That is why I would recommend taking some pictures prior to ceremony in the park or near the church when your little one is full of energy and joy.
And of course, all details are important - special bond between godparents and child, beautiful surroundings, emotions and intense feelings - they tell the story and make the memories more vivid for the parents, godparents, friends and relatives.
